Despite posting a slightly lower overall score than normal at the Stanford Open (due to part of the team competing for Team USA), the Cardinal is rolling while also displaying exceptional depth, so it’s no surprise they retain the No. 1 spot in the College Gymnastics Association’s Week 4 Power Rankings for NCAA men’s gymnastics.

After edging Illinois to keep its home win streak alive, Oklahoma also retained its No. 2 spot while Michigan rounded out the top 3 (four places higher than Week 3) after a 409.2 and win against rival Ohio State.

Also on the rise are Ohio State and Illinois, while Nebraska and Penn State each dropped three places after scoring sub-400 in their matchup against each other.

The rankings are based on the votes of a panel of men’s gymnastics experts surveyed by the CGA, including Gymnastics Now, and will be shared weekly throughout the season on the GymNow site as part of our partnership with the association.
