Courtney Kupets Carter receives contract extension as head coach of Georgia GymDogs
In five seasons as the head coach of her alma mater, Courtney Kupets Carter has led the University of Georgia GymDogs to a 24-32 overall record. Despite not yet replicating the success of her time as a Bulldog from 2006-2009, Kupets Carter will seemingly have three more seasons in Athens to make a statement.
On Thursday, the Athens Banner-Herald reported Kupets Carter and Georgia agreed to terms after her contract expired following the 2022 season.
The Olympian’s new deal is for the next three years (2023-2025 seasons) for $200,000 annually, the same salary she earned in 2022.
Georgia athletic department might be encouraged by its 2023 roster, which was recently finalized and named No. 4 in the country by College Gym News.
