It’s almost here: the second annual CGA All-Stars meet streams Saturday, December 16 at 5 p.m. Eastern Time on YouTube.

The meet will give a glimpse at the high level of competition expected from NCAA men’s gymnastics during the upcoming 2024 season, which begins in earnest in January.

In its second year, the CGA All-Stars meet is upping the ante, with International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Brevet-certified judges replacing last year’s celebrity panel and a next-level broadcast powered by Virtius.

The 15 current NCAA men’s teams have split up into two teams: East vs. West, with Michigan head coach Xiao Yuan leading the East and Stanford head coach Thom Glielmi leading the West.

The competition format is 4v4 on each event in a head-to-head format that utilizes the 10.0 scoring system. (Official men’s NCAA gymnastics competitions utilize the open-ended scoring system.) Routines will consist of six skills. There will be a base score of 7.6 (if all element groups are completed), and it’s possible to accumulate difficulty up to a 10.0.
