Two-time junior Winter Cup all-around champion Ella Kate Parker has moved from Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy to WOGA Frisco, Parker confirmed to Gymnastics Now on Wednesday.

The news comes soon after Parker scratched from this week’s U.S. Classic and changed the gym in her Instagram bio to WOGA.

“While I’m so grateful for everything [Mary Lee Tracy] did for me during the best 2 years ever, I made this decision to be closer to my family,” Parker said. ”I’m forever grateful for Mary Lee and CGA, and for being in their family for 2 years! I’m going to miss my CGA family and Mary Lee SO much, but I am SO excited for this new chapter!! I have decided to train at WOGA FRISCO! I’m so grateful for this incredible opportunity and for them to welcome me so lovingly into their family!”

Originally from Monroe, Louisiana, Parker has shown promise since joining the junior elite ranks, most recently winning team gold and bronze on floor at the 2022 DTB Pokal Cup in Stuttgart, Germany.

While Parker scratched from this week’s meet, she is planning to compete at next month’s U.S. Championships in Tampa, Florida.
