Training clips: The week of the triple
As more and more gymnasts return to training across the world, we’re seeing an uptick in training videos, and we couldn’t be more excited! With the Olympics postponed and no meets for at least a couple more months, the gymternet will take any peeks into the gym that athlete’s are willing to share. This week, we saw athletes kicking their training into high gear… or just having fun… with some new skills!
It was all about the triple, in particular, including a triple-double off beam from the G.O.A.T., a piked triple back, triple back, and triple front.
This week, our training clips section is highlighted by Simone Biles (USA), Nikita Nagornyy (RUS), Skye Blakely (USA), Artem Dolgopyat (ISR), Heath Thorpe (AUS), Morgan Hurd (USA), Sam Mikulak (USA), Sanna Veerman (NED), Eddie Penev (USA), eMjae Frazier (USA), and Marvin Kimble (USA).
Fail of the week
