FIG announces team, all-around qualifiers for 2022 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships

The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) posted official documents this week confirming the teams and all-around gymnasts that have qualified for the 2022 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Liverpool, England in October.

Twenty-four teams have qualified for both the MAG and WAG team competitions, which will be the first world team competitions of the 2020-24 quad. Additionally, 40 MAG all-arounders and 49 WAG all-arounders have qualified. Thirty-two WAG and 48 MAG apparatus specialists will also be confirmed at the end of that qualifying process in the coming weeks.

Both the all-around and apparatus specialists are gymnasts from countries who did not already qualify a team. Gymnasts part of qualified teams will also be able to compete in the all-around and event finals.
