As the regular season comes to a close, we take a look as more Big 12 gymnastics teams collect wins and learn from the last few meets before the postseason.

The Iowa State Cyclones fell (196.175) to the Iowa Hawkeyes (196.450) on Friday night. Starting on vault, there were two team leaders part of the three-way tie, with Josie Bergstrom and Emilie Hong scoring 9.85s. Bergstrom also led the team on beam with a 9.875.

Noelle Adams took the floor title with a stunning 9.925.
“Tonight belongs to Cyclone Nation. With it being the highest non-beauty and the best attendance in program history is just a special way to send our seniors out in their last meet at Hilton. Obviously, it was not the result we wanted, and we just need to continue to hone into the details. We still have a great opportunity to make this a season to remember,” Head Coach Ashley Miles Greig said.
The Cyclones will be on the road at Florida on Friday, March 15 to take on the Gators, LIU, and NC State.
#15 Ohio State @ BYU

The BYU Cougars (196.450) hosted their senior night and fell to BYU (197.125).

Quad meet @ #11 Denver
Final score: Denver: 197.625, Missouri: 197.375, New Hampshire: 195.250, Southeast Missouri: 193.150
The Pioneers brought back a win from Missouri after a late weekend quad meet.
Starting on bars, Jessica Hutchinson and Rylie Mundell both tied for first place with 9.95s to help the team to an overall score of 49.550.
The second rotation was a showcase on beam, where Hutchinson won another title with a 9.975. She also tied for first once again on vault with Rosie Casali with scores of 9.925.
On floor, all counting scores were 9.875s.
“I’m incredibly proud of the team, especially considering our difficult travel getting here yesterday. We spent pretty much the entire day at the airport and the night on a plane and a bus, and we missed dinner last night. Then we had the equivalent of a three-hour time difference when you factor in Daylight Savings Time, the time-zone change, and the earlier start time from what we’re used to,” Head Coach Melissa Kutcher-Rinehart said.
An exciting matchup awaits the Pioneers in Week 11 as Denver travels to face Michigan on Friday, March 15.
Rutgers @ West Virginia
Final score: West Virginia: 195.550– Rutgers: 195.325
Celebrating senior night, the West Virginia Mountaineers obtained a win against Rutgers on Sunday afternoon.
