There’s no competition for Simone Biles, and John Legend agrees.

Legend is joining Biles in her fight against toxic beauty standards. The Grammy award-winner has created an exclusive track for the gymnast’s just-announced short film with Japanese cosmetics brand, and Tokyo 2020 worldwide partner, SK-II.

Biles announced her #NOCOMPETITION partnership with SK-II in early February.

It all started with a letter to her followers that said she is “done competing VS. beauty standards and the toxic culture of trolling when others feel as though their expectations are not met… because nobody should tell you or I what beauty should or should not look like.”

SK-II Studios “VS” series premieres April 6 and will features six animated short films starring six Olympic athletes who are battling competition in the one place that is toxic: beauty.

“Because pressure should never dictate our choices.”

Each film will feature a unique, personal story of perseverance related to dangerous beauty standards, including trolls, pressure, image obsession, rules, limits, and machine-like perfection.

Biles’ short film is titled “VS Trolls.”

The synopsis for the film reads, “On her journey to become the greatest gymnast of all time, Simone runs into trolls. What will unfold from this fateful meeting?”

The other five athletes teaming up with SK-II are Liu Xiang (swimming, CHN); Mahina Maeda (surfing, JPN); Kasumi Ishikawa (table tennis, JPN); Hinotori Nippon (volleyball team, JPN); Ayaka Takahashi and Misaki Matsutomo (badminton, JPN).
