NCAA Gymnastics Week 9: Rankings & Recap (March 1 - 7, 2021)

Week 9 of the 2021 NCAA Gymnastics season saw the final regular season meets for the SEC, seven perfect 10s, and plenty of great men’s matchups as the guys got back to work after Winter Cup.

On the women’s side, No. 1 Florida held off [6] Alabama to win the 2021 SEC regular season title outright. [2] Oklahoma had two dominating performances against BYU and in a tri-meet against Texas Woman’s and Centenary, and [12] Auburn gave [8] Arkansas a run for its money to earn a season-best score at home.

The men returned to competition this week with most teams back in action after Winter Cup. [1] Oklahoma had what many would call an “off” week vs. William & Mary. Elsewhere, [2] Michigan held off [7] Iowa in a tight one, and [16] Stanford looked like its 2019-self against [10] California.

#2 Oklahoma 197.800 vs. #11 BYU 196.900

TEMPE, Ariz. – Senior Cairo Leonard-Baker celebrated senior day with a meet-clinching routine on floor to push No. 7 Sun Devil Gymnastics to their sixth-straight win over the Arizona Wildcats, 196.100 to 196.075, on Saturday in Desert Financial Arena. Click here for a full recap.

BERKELEY – No. 9 Cal women’s gymnastics tied an NCAA record on the uneven bars and set a program record all-around score en route to a 198.050-196.925 win over No. 10 UCLA. Click here for a full recap.
