NCAA Gymnastics Week 8: Rankings & Recap (February 23 – 28, 2021)
Week 8 of the 2021 NCAA Gymnastics season was action-packed, with the 2021 Winter Cup and the awarding of. the 2021 SEC regular season title, plus much more!
On the women’s side, No. 1 Florida continued its dominating season with a 198+ win over Auburn to clinch at least a share of the 2021 SEC regular season title. Elsewhere, [14] Kentucky pulled off the upset over [2] LSU, and [4] Utah and [9] California faced off in an epic battle.
Most of the men’s teams were off this week as the focus switched to the 2021 Winter Cup and individual competition. Three virtual meets still took place though, and all were pretty close matchups. Cameron Bock was the big story of Winter Cup, winning the all-around title on night one ahead of seasoned Team USA star Yul Moldauer and others.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – No. 14 Kentucky (4-3, 4-2 Southeastern Conference) ended its 2021 home slate on its highest note yet, sending its senior class out with a 197.100-196.800 victory over No. 2 LSU (4-3, 3-3 SEC) on Friday. Click here for a full recap.
#4 Utah 197.375 vs. #9 California 197.125
SALT LAKE CITY – No. 4-ranked Utah gymnastics (8-1, 5-0 Pac-12) continued its undefeated run in Pac-12 Conference action on Friday night, keeping the winning streak alive after topping No. 9 California (4-1, 3-1 Pac-12) by a score of 197.375-197.125 at the Jon M. COLUMBIA, Mo. – The No. 23 Mizzou gymnastics concluded the home portion of its schedule with a 196.575-196.100 win over No. 15 Georgia on Friday night at the Hearnes Center. Click here for a full recap.
