With the start of Week 6, we are officially halfway through the 2021 NCAA Gymnastics season! While most everyone is just happy to have a season at all, it’s great to see the regular season moving along relatively smoothly, overall, and postseason within reach. Plenty of great gymnastics this weekend, so let’s get into it!

On the women’s side, the biggest story of the weekend is No. 1 Florida and No. 2 LSU facing off in Baton Rouge on Friday night. Elsewhere, No. 6 Alabama and No. 13 Georgia face off in one of college gymnastics’ most time-honored rivalries. The newest women’s team, the Long Island University Sharks, kick off their season on Saturday afternoon against New Hampshire, and No. 22 Boise State vs. No. 21 Utah State presents what is sure to be a great matchup on Saturday evening. On Sunday, two Pac-12 matchups headline Valentine’s Day: No. 10 UCLA vs. Washington and No. 14 Arizona State vs. No. 16 California.

After a light weekend for the guys in their Week 4 (Week 5 overall), we have seven matchups this weekend, including five on Saturday alone. The weekend kicks off with the All-Academy Championships between Air Force, Navy, and No. 5 Army. Over on the West Coast, Cal and Stanford face off in a virtual meet. 2019 champion Stanford was shorthanded in its season opener against William & Mary on Wednesday, resulting in a major upset for The Tribe. The Cardinal will look to improve on that finish this weekend. In an exciting rivalry matchup, No. 3 Penn State and No. 2 Ohio State face off on Sunday afternoon.
