NCAA Gymnastics Week 11: Rankings & Recap (March 16 – 21, 2021)
Week 11 of the 2021 NCAA Gymnastics season featured conference championships for the women and most of the men’s teams competed in the final regular season meets of the season.
On the women’s side, there were multiple upsets during conference championship weekend, including No. 7 Minnesota snapping No. 3 Michigan’s streak of six-consecutive titles, No. 9 Denver narrowly defeating No. 1 (tie) Oklahoma, and No. 8 Alabama surpassed both No. 4 LSU and No. 1 (tie) Florida for the SEC title.
For the men, No. 11 California posted a season-best score against No. 1 Oklahoma. Elsewhere, No. 2 Michigan looked in top form with two 408+ scores within three days, and No. 8 Iowa held off No. 4 Nebraska to win by just 0.050 of a point.

Gophers Win Big Ten Title Off Record Breaking Team Score; Ramler Named Gymnast of the Year
For the first time since 2006, the University of Minnesota women’s gymnastics team captured the Big Ten tournament title as No. 7 Minnesota won first place at the Big Ten Championship on Saturday night held at Maturi Pavilion in Minneapolis. The Golden Gophers tallied a program-record 197.750 to win their sixth conference championship and snap Michigan’s streak of six consecutive titles. Click here for a full recap.
Denver Gymnastics Wins Big 12 Championship
MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – The No. 9-ranked University of Denver gymnastics team won the 2021 Big 12 Gymnastics Championship on Saturday, scoring a 197.350 to beat No. 1 Oklahoma (197.125), No. 22 Iowa State (197.050) and West Virginia (195.725). Click here for a full recap.
NO. 12 BYU WINS 2021 MRGC TITLE WITH A 196.925
LOGAN, Utah – For the second consecutive year, No. 12 BYU earned the title as Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference Champions, notching a 196.925 for the winning tally in Logan, Utah, on Saturday.
Trailing BYU in a closely contested championship, No. 19 Boise State came in second (196.725), followed by No. 21 Utah State (196.250) and No. 20 Southern Utah University (196.225). Click here for a full recap.
Utah Gymnasts Win 2021 Pac-12 Championships
WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – A fall in the first routine of the night could have easily shaken the No. 6-ranked Utah gymnasts, but the power of momentum took over and the Ute gymnasts had just enough left in them on vault to hold on for their fourth Pac-12 Championship and sixth conference title overall. Alabama Gymnastics Wins 10th Southeastern Conference Championship with Huge Night in Huntsville
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Before the 2021 season got underway, Alabama gymnastics seniors Alonza Klopfer and Lexi Graber came up with a theme for their team – “Women on Fire.” On Saturday night in Huntsville, Ala., their team was just that, continuing the Crimson Tide’s legacy as a “Championship School” at the Von Braun Center, winning its 10th Southeastern Conference Gymnastics Championship with a season-best 197.875.
