Olympic gold medalists Rebeca Andrade (BRA) and Angelina Melnikova (RUS) headline the field for day one of event finals at the 2021 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships.

Team USA’s Stephen Nedoroscik and Alec Yoder will both compete in the pommel horse final after qualifying second and third, respectively.

World champions on men’s floor, women’s vault, pommel horse, uneven bars, and still rings will be decided.

It was announced early Saturday that 2021 world all-around champion Zhang Boheng (rings) and silver medalist Hashimoto Daiki (floor and pommel horse) have both withdrawn from today’s apparatus finals. In their place, Kaya Kazuma (JPN) will compete on floor, Harutyun Merdinyan (ARM) on pommel horse, and Marco Lodadio (ITA) on rings.
